Whimsical Wrap Kit
New Zealand designer Stephanie Quattrini has pioneered a relatively quick and easy method for felting this beautiful wrap. The process involves using layers of a water soluble plastic (laminate) to form the base, into which you arrange the various boucle and soft mohair yarns, hand-dyed silk fabric, hand-dyed merino roving/sliver and Italian ribbons. Once the fibers are arranged, just machine sew them into place and then immerse the entire project in a sink of water to watch the laminate dissolve, leaving behind your personalized creation. Finished wrap measures approximately 15" x 60".
